Telenor new promotion gives back over 100% bonus to new customers

February 2, 2016, Yangon – Telenor Myanmar Limited (“Telenor”) today launched extra benefits for first time recharges, providing customers with bonuses for four consecutive months.

Only new customers to Telenor SIMs are eligible to this promotion. Telenor normally provides first time recharge bonuses to new customers based on the recharge amounts, and this staggered benefits provides extra four months of benefits, apart from normal bonuses.

As an example: Customer who buy a Telenor SIM and recharges MMK 3,000 will normally receive 30 minutes bonus (On-Net) and 30 MB data. Now, the customer will have opportunity to get staggered benefits depending on the top-up amount (see detailed information on the below chart).

During this time, customers may check their staggered benefits balance by dialling *124*1#. The validity of the staggered FR benefits is 30 days from the last benefits received date. The promotion starts on 1st February and will exist until further notice.

The staggered FR benefits can be used only for On-Net calls, On-Net SMS and for PayAsYouGo data usage. These benefits cannot be used for Off-Net calls, Off-Net SMS, and the subscription of any pack and other services including Super Zee Kwat (which offers calls and data for as low as 1 Kyat per minute and 1 Kyat per Mb during 11pm and 7am; Super Zee Kwat has now been extended to March 31st, 2016).
